UNFOLDINGS FOR AMSTERDAM
Unifying Matrix for Clinical Files
Presented during the 52nd Congress of the LMHI, in Seattle, the Unifying Matrix for Clinical Files is presently being revised by a group of colleagues from different countries. This work aims to make it feasible to develop for the homeopathic community of professionals an international clinical information system, by means of an instrument of collecting, organizing, storing, retrieving and disseminating selected clinical cases. This matrix has been developed to integrate the clinical information derived from all the different homeopathic approaches and schools in Brazil, which are in the process of adopting it as a unifying model. It is nowadays the basis for an integrative work to be accomplished at the international level, supported by the scientific cooperation of all those who consider clinical studies in homeopathy to be a very important tool and line of research and scientific development.
The organizing committee of the 53rd Congress of the LMHI, on recognizing the very importance of this enterprise, will dedicate a special meeting to this subject during the next congress, in Amsterdam. During that meeting, we are going to present all the accomplishments in this area of research and development, as well as discuss them with all the participants, according to a program of specific issues, designed to achieve the maximum of productivity through a dynamic and interactive meeting. In this sense we will be contributing to the public attending the congress and to homeopathy as a whole, by making our congress a place also for knowledge production.

Meeting of Homœopathic Journals' Editors
Editors of homœopathic journals are invited to a special meeting during the congress in Amsterdam. The main purpose of this meeting is an exchange of ideas to help each other in fulfilling our job, namely the dissemination of knowledge to our colleagues.
Possible subjects to be discussed are the following:
- eligibility criteria for the publication of an article
- basic criteria for a cured case to be eligible for publication
- the (need of) existence of journals specializing in scientific research or philosophy
- mutual exchange of articles among journals
To prepare this meeting thoroughly and to increase its output, I would like each Journal editor to send me the data of the journal (name, address etc.) and a copy of one of the recent issues. In my capacity of editor of Similia Similibus Curentur (SSC), the Journal of the Netherlands Homœopathic Medical Association, I will send you a copy of our Journal.
Please let me know if you will be attending this meeting at the Amsterdam congress and, in case you cannot come, if you are interested in any form of co-operation or the minutes of this editors' meeting.
